"I can't believe how it could be just over five months since my last class. I am very happy that I still seem to be able to participate with some of the same feelings which connect me with wherever I was when I stopped. I feared that my muscles and brain might have forgotten a lot. My toes are the biggest forgetters. Odd, you would think that with all they do every day that they would be the most forgiving. Guess they are just rebelling about the fact that we are asking even more of them.
"Home again!" I am very aware of the good feelings that exist all about the studio. Is there another spot in any of our lives where we are so focused for 90 minutes, so self determined to achieve some special alignments of mind and body? And also, to be so quietly sharing it all with a small group of good people !! How very fortunate am I to have discovered this ancient practice.
The only experience that comes even close, and I share it here in the hope that others will consider it, is when my wife and I climb Mt Beacon, go across the top to the fire tower and sit somewhere at the base on the hard granite with fellow hikers enjoying 360 degrees of magnificent country, a healthy breeze, some warm sun, and perhaps some lunch. But, most important of all being there with a handful or more of perfect strangers who know this is a special spot, who appreciate how hard you have to work to get here, and who understand that we are sharing something that might enable us to reclaim our appreciation of one another and this great planet we have the honor to be upon. Every time we have gone up we have met someone amazing! Every time.
Exciting to realize that both amazing adventures are always just beginning and may remain so, for with some effort they can go on for each of our own "forevers'""
Peace and respect,

"I wasn't able to properly thank you prior to my move. You, the teachers at Tadasana and the Hot Yoga practise have insprired me, given me confidence, courage, the ability to grow and most importantly the ability to be present in the moment and relax. I truly feel as though for the past year and a half studying with you, I have truly grown as a person.
I took my second class down at the Larchmont Bikram Yoga studio and though very very hot, I stayed, and after class was complimented on my form and asked who I have been studying with.
Again, I thank you for allowing me to practise and learn from you. Though there are those days where my mind maybe racing or I feel truly horrible about what's going on in my life, I continue to hear your voice and the commands you've given during class. With those reminders, I always try to work through what's going on in life and know that if I continue to breathe, give thanks and appreciation, I can get through."
Best Wishes,
Susie
"It's not usual for me to write a testimonial unless I truly believe something has made a difference for me and it can possibly do the same for someone else. When I quit the gym I had belonged to for many years, I was presented with a dilema. Faced with bulging discs, scoleosis, and osteoporosis, I had to find something that could releive the discomfort and help to strengthen my body. When Tadasana opened, it was so near my house, I took a chance, not knowing Roberta or her expert instruction. It has since turned out to be more beneficial than I ever imagined. Both my chiropractor and bone specialist, as well as a recent visit to an orthopedist agree that the yoga practice at Tadasana has been extremely helpful in maintaining the proper alignment and strenthening my muscles and helping me to avoid any surgical procedures.
As an added plus, besides the physical benefits, Roberta and her new staff have been wonderful to work with to help reinforce the mental and emotional benefits of practicing yoga."
Thanks to all.

"Taking time out for "me" was a foreign concept. I'am a busy mom with a long commute so finding time or the desire to workout and eat right was a constant battle. This past Valentine's Day my husband surprised me with 10 yoga classes. After the first class, I was hooked! I am still unsure why spending 90 minutes in a hot room doing yoga produces such stillness of mind for me. I just know that it does. I remember after my first class feeling exhausted, soaked with sweat and I ached all over and I LOVED IT!
As I continued with my practice, I started to shrink. Miraculously, my body was telling me what to eat and after changing my eating habits, it took me 4 months to lose 25 pounds, 2 sizes and a ton of inches. For me, yoga is the hardest workout you can do that is low impact. It works the body inside and out and it's a practice for the young and old. Although my strength and flexibility have improved, I still struggle with the poses but Roberta continues to encourage me to be patient with my body... it will happen!
I appreciate the kindness and generosity of the Tadasana staff. It has been a life changing experience to begin this journey. I am anxious to make the most of it and spread the word!"

"What Yoga means to me. If I credited one thing which keeps me active and healthy in the third chapter of my life it would have to be Tadasana Yoga. I'm probably the oldest member of the studio, but until this testimonial none of the other members noticed my advanced age, therefore I'll have to use an alias. I love coming to this studio, Words can't describe how great it feels: it must be experienced. Is it relaxing, rejuvenating, invigorating, stress reducing... yes to all of the adjectives. For ninety minutes you can sweat out all your troubles and get happy. Roberta and her staff are positive, upbeat, and knowledgeable. They prudently instruct to avoid injuries, offer modifications when needed and make you feel welcome. It's like going to "Cheers" those of you too young to remember the program, come to Tadasana Yoga and experience the feeling; as for the older crowd, "you know what I'm talking about.""

"Roberta's Hot Yoga studio is an important part of my workout routines. I am an active person participating in marathons, Ironman triathlons, and backpacking in the mountains. Hot yoga is great way to avoid common injuries and the best way to recover after strenuous workouts. Yoga is not only important to stay limber in an up tight world; it also grounds you mentally. If you feel stresses are taking over, just take a class and leave your troubles at the door. I promise you that after a class you will have a better perspective on life. Roberta is great and so are the rest of her instructors who offer different styles that may suit your particular needs. Tadasana Yoga is all about, "hot yoga and warm hearts" so come check it out and maybe I will see you at the studio."
Thank you Tadasna Yoga,

Roberta,
It's goalie. I know it's been awhile since I've stopped by... I just want to say thank you for being such a great teacher when I practiced with you way back when. Thanks to you, my whole life direction has taken a total 180 (in a good way) and I feel like myself which sounds kind of odd, but I can say I truly have found my path in life.
You pushed me to my limits many times, molding me in a way that you knew all along I could achieve in my practice. I understand that this is a never-ending journey and I am prepared to continue to develop my practice, understanding the benefits to my body, mind, and over-all way of life.
As I'm sure you are aware, I will be certified in April and I look forward to teaching, learning, and growing with students of my own. Being the product of a teacher, I have acquired a natural ability to educate, transform, and raise people to a levels of growth never thought possible. It is because of the drive and conviction I saw in you that I realized what a critical role you played in my development as a yoga practitioner and more importantly, as a person. Thank you.
Namaste,
Kraig with a 'K'
**Kristin,
I CC'd you just to let you know how much I appreciate all you have done for me including turning me on to Yoga!
Thanks!
If you do 40 classes in 2 months you get a week of Yoga free! A nice bonus, but not the main prize. I accepted the challenge and completed the 40 classes in plenty of time, many days taking two classes. So, where am I now? I am at the lightest weight I have been in my adult life. My arms and chest have the best muscle tone ever. My balance, on and off the mat is at a place its never been to. I will be 50 this year, and I feel the best I have since my 20's. The challenge encouraged me to get to the studio even more, and to take
a variety of classes. All of the teachers are awesome, and each one brings something special and unique to their class. I'l be taking my free week, but I have received so much more then that. We have such a great Yoga community (family) here. I feel so lucky to be a part of it.
Thank you Tadasana, and all of the staff!!
